Robert (Bob) L. Martuza

Robert L. Martuza, M.D. is a Distinguished Professor of Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School and Chief Emeritus of Neurosurgery Service at Massachusetts General Hospital. His pioneering work has led multiple other investigators to study other oncolytic viruses for cancer therapy and to the approval of two different oncolytic viruses for clinical use worldwide. Dr. Martuza has published over 200 peer-reviewed articles on oncolytic virotherapy, cancer therapy and immunotherapy, and brain neoplasms.
